Kailey Berrio is a passionate dance educator, choreographer, and mentor dedicated to helping dancers discover confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for the art of dance. Beginning her teaching journey at her local studio from a young age, she quickly discovered a passion for mentoring and encouraging others through dance. Over the years, she has trained dancers of all ages and skill levels and is known for creating a positive, encouraging environment where students are challenged to grow both technically and personally.

Originally from Palmer, Alaska, Kailey is the founder and former owner of MK Let's Dance, where she built and operated a thriving dance studio dedicated to providing quality dance education in a supportive, family-centered environment. During her time as a studio owner, she taught a wide range of dance styles, directed competitive teams, choreographed performances, and developed programs that inspired dancers to grow both on and off the stage. Her leadership was rooted in the belief that dance has the power to build resilience, character, and lifelong friendships. 

Beyond the studio, Kailey's greatest passion is investing in the lives of children. Her Christian faith is the foundation of everything she does and has shaped her calling to mentor and encourage the next generation. Through years of leading children's ministry programs, she has devoted much of her career to creating safe, joyful environments where children feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. Whether teaching dance or serving in ministry, her desire is to help every child recognize their God-given purpose while building courage, kindness, and strong character.

With extensive training and teaching experience across a diverse range of dance styles, Kailey brings versatility, technical excellence, and creativity to every class. She is devoted to continually expanding her education, training, and professional development to provide the highest quality instruction for her students. Committed to creating a safe and positive learning environment, Kailey actively pursues continuing education in dance, injury prevention, age-appropriate instruction, and effective teaching methods to ensure every dancer receives developmentally appropriate and technically sound training. Throughout her career, she has continued to train  dancers across Central and North Florida, sharing her passion through classes, private lessons, workshops, choreography, competitive training, and developing and directing performance and working closely with multiple competitive dance teams. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in progressive dance education, where each skill is intentionally introduced and built upon to create technically strong, versatile, and confident dancers. She believes every student, regardless of age or experience level, deserves individualized instruction that meets them where they are while encouraging continual growth. By providing a supportive and structured learning environment, Kailey helps each dancer achieve their personal goals—whether that means building confidence, mastering new techniques, excelling in competition, pursuing professional opportunities, or simply developing a lifelong love for dance.

Above all, Kailey believes every child deserves a place where they feel encouraged, challenged, and celebrated. Her mission is to cultivate not only skilled dancers but capable young people who carry the lessons they learn—discipline, perseverance, compassion, and integrity—into every area of their lives.
